How is Suntory BOSS Coffee made? How is it different from other ready-to-drink coffees?
Suntory BOSS Coffee differs from other ready-to-drink coffee brands because of its unique “flash- brew” process. While it’s new to the ANZ market, it has old roots in Japan. With this authentic Japanese-style process, coffee is brewed hot to unlock deep rich flavour, and then chilled down in seconds to lock it in. The result is a distinct, rich coffee experience that is bold and well-balanced.

Where does Suntory BOSS Coffee get its coffee beans?
Our coffee beans are primarily sourced from the finest coffee growing areas in Brazil and Colombia.

Yes, it is manufactured and imported from Japan. Suntory BOSS Coffee started its history in 1992 in Japan, and the team has been pursuing the best quality of RTD Coffee with the spirit of coffee craftsmanship.

How many calories and how much sugar does Suntory BOSS Coffee have?

• Iced Long Black contains no sugar and no dairy and has only 5 calories per can.
• Iced Double Espresso has 14.6g of sugar and 88 calories per can. 
• Iced Latte has 6.3g of sugar and 52 calories per can.
• Iced Vanilla Latte has 11.8g of sugar and 90 calories per can.

How much caffeine does Suntory BOSS Coffee have?
Our Suntory Boss Coffee range uses a unique Japanese flash brewing process by preparing hot coffee and chilling fast. The range includes Iced Long Black, Iced Latte, Iced Double Espresso and Iced Vanilla Latte.  

We follow the labelling requirements outlined by FSANZ in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. 

The caffeine levels can be variable as coffee is an agricultural material in which caffeine naturally occurs. Factors which effect the caffeine level include the variety of coffee bean used, the geographical location of where the coffee was grown, the processing method, and how the coffee is prepared. For example, a shot of brewed coffee contains around 80-105mg of caffeine.

Is the product Halal certified?
Suntory BOSS Coffee is not Halal certified. However, the product does not contain any animal product other than dairy in the Iced Double Espresso, Iced Latte and Iced Vanilla Latte variants. Iced Long Black contains no animal ingredients.

Iced Latte: Brewed Coffee, Water, Milk, Coffee Extracts, Sugar, Milk Solids, Acidity Regulator (500), Sodium Caseinate, Emulsifier (473), Flavours, Roasted Sugar, Sweetener (950).

Iced Vanilla Latte: Brewed Coffee, Water, Milk, Sugar, Milk Solids, Coffee Extract, Cream, Acidity regulator (500), Sodium Caseinate, Natural flavours, Emulsifier (473).

Note: E950, also known as Acesulfame Potassium, is a calorie-free sweetener that is widely used around the world in sugarfree or sugar-reduced beverage products to add sweetness. Its safety for human consumption has been well documented and proven, and there are strict guidelines that manufacturers must adhere to regarding the amount that can be added to food and beverage products.

Is the product vegan?
Iced Long Black is vegan suitable. All other blends are not vegan suitable due to the presence of milk based ingredients.
